Coolest news ever. I just learned that the sharp officer who handled the call after my mom's and my encounter with the violent losers, along with the following investigation, and has been so attentive and thorough in collecting evidence and keeping us informed during the process (despite being a minor case), was awarded Officer of the Year for Precinct 6 in Towson for the SECOND year in a row.

Not surprised at all. I remember my mom and I discussing how awesome she was. I said that for her to take such ownership of going after the perpetrators like she did, that I wouldn't be surprised if her career takes her all the way to the top. Grit like that is rare, and it's nice to see that in this case, it's also recognized. Here she is pictured receiving the honor in the Baltimore Sun, from the ceremony last month.
